Today could be the hottest day of the year so far.
Met Éireann is forecasting temperatures of up to 28 degrees in Dublin with warm and dry conditions.
But it's not all good news. Severe downpours, hail and spot flooding could follow.
A yellow thunderstorm warning will be in place from 4 o'clock this afternoon until 9am tomorrow.
Status Yellow Thunderstorm warning has been issued for the whole of Ireland for Thursday afternoon through to Friday morning.

Cathal Nolan, from Ireland's Weather Channel, says Leinster will bear the brunt of the storm;
"Isolated thunderstorms could develop in pretty much any part of the country however it's through the evening time we're likely to see more organised thunderstorms developing in the eastern half of the country."
Friday
Friday is expected to start out mostly dry with sunny spells in Dublin. Met Éireann says there will be further showers, some of them heavy.
Early afternoon temperatures will be between 22 and 24 degrees.
