A young man's recovering in hospital after being seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting in Coolock.
The 22 year old was gunned down at 6.45 last night outside a busy shop at Ferrycarrig Park.
The young man managed to make his own way to Beaumont hospital afterwards for treatment... sources say he was seriously wouned in the leg and arm, but his injuries are not life threatening.
Detectives working on a motive for the attack were anxious to speak to the victim shortly after the attack - as a full investigation swung into operation.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses and the scene has been sealed off for forensic examination.
