A commemoration is taking place in Dublin city centre for those who died during the 1916 Rising.
The Relatives Association is holding its annual event which usually takes place around Easter - but was delayed due to Covid-19.
The Lord Mayor of Dublin will be part of the celebration and lay a wreath in the Garden of Remembrance.
Brian O'Neill is Cathaoirleach of the 1916 Relatives Association - he outlines why the commemoration is important
It's a commemoration of those who fought in 1916, we'd usually host it on Easter Saturday but this year because of Covid we've had to postpone it.
We've been in a position now to re-hold it and reschedule it, so here we are today.
We are doing it with a much reduced number so as to follow government guidelines.

Councillor Ring Says It's A Significant Day
Former Lord Mayor Niall Ring is also in attendance, he says there's plenty going on despite the reduced number of people at the event:
"We have our singers, we have our colour party, the pipe major from the UN Veterans is going to read the proclamation."
"Very significantly today Robert Ballagh who designed the logo for the 1916 Relatives Association, will be presenting that logo which we've now incorporated onto our flag."
