More than 150 Christmas dinners are being delivered to older people in Dublin this afternoon.
Friends of the Elderly says this is the only opportunity for some to have a Christmas dinner.
1000 Brussel sprouts and 10 turkeys have been prepared by chefs at the Bonnington hotel today for older people in the community.
Volunteers are out delivering the meals to over 150 people, many who are living alone.
