A seven-storey co-living development has been given the go-ahead in Rathmines.
An Bord Pleanala has approved Bartra Capital's plan for the 102-bed accommodation according to the Irish Independent.
That's despite Dublin city council rejecting the proposal last year.
The scheme on Ardee road in the centre of the village also includes a gym, cinema and private function spaces.
The board's inspector had raised concerns about the layout of the building, saying there wasn't enough kitchen and dining areas on each floor.
However the development was given the green light without a specific condition in relation to it.
Meanwhile local objectors had argued the development would be overbearing and was too large for the site.
Last year Bartra was granted permission for a similar development on Eblana Avenue in Dun Laoghaire.
