Thousands of drivers have been caught illegally using bus lanes in Dublin since 2017.
Statistics for the Dublin Metropolitan Region show more than 10,400 motorists have been fined.
In 2018, 4,131 people were issued with fixed charge notices. That's 30 percent more than the year before.
The figures are contained in a response from the Justice Minister to a parliamentary question from Fine Gael TD Noel Rock
So far this year, 3,109 fines have been handed out.
It comes as gardaí ramp up efforts to stop drivers using bus lanes. On just one day on Cork Street in Dublin 8, 17 motorists were caught illegally entering bus tracks.
