Dublin chairman Andy Kettle says he wants Anthony Daly to stay on as manager of the Dublin hurlers. The Dubs made their Championship exit over the weekend at the hands of Daly’s native Clare. As a result speculation over Daly’s future has intensified but Kettle says personally he’d like to see Daly take the Dubs forward. ” It’s not up to me, it has to be a collective decision by county management and the county board,” Kettle told the Irish Daily Star. “But personally, I would love to see Anthony continue. I haven’t spoken to him yet and even if I did, it would only be a casual chat because there is no rush. “We are talking about next January before we need to have anything sorted out.”
