Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 50s died in Co Laois.
He was found unconscious on the streets of Portlaoise in the early hours of this morning.
The man was rushed to hospital but later died from his injuries.
We’ll find out later how he died when the results of a post mortem are made known.
