
This morning the seven-time Tour winner LA has been banned from the sport for life and stripped of his titles. Armstrong has given up his fight against accusations of doping but continues to insist he’s innocent.
The US Anti-doping agency allege that Armstrong doped as far back as 1996, they had 10 former team mates and colleagues ready to testify against him.
