There are still doubts over the fitness of Paul O’Connell for the first of the November series of internationals against South Africa next week.
The second row powerhouse is struggling with a back injury and hasn’t trained with the lads since last Monday.
O’Connell won’t play for Munster at the weekend and will be given every chance to prove his fitness ahead of the visit of the Springboks.
Coach Declan Kidney also admitted he’s fairly sure who his captain will be but won’t reveal his identity till next week.
