Kevin Foley’s returned home from Ireland’s training camp after his surprise omission from the Euro 2012 squad.
The Wolves defender was stunned to discover that his place in the original 23 man party had been given to Hull’s Paul McShane who’d been on the stand-by list.
Foley declined an offer from boss Giovanni Trapattoni to stay with the squad.
