Jon Bon Jovi arrived in style at Slane Castle earlier on today via helicopter to announce that Bon Jovi will headline Slane on Saturday the 15th of June 2013. He was pretty excited as his helicopter hovered over the grounds of the castle and said he’d been taking photos on his phone as they flew over.
Tickets go on sale at 8am on Thursday the 8th of November priced from €79.50 inclusive of booking fee.
The biggest surprise of all was when Jon popped into Boyle’s Pub in the village with Lord Henry Mountcharles for a quick pint, signing autographs for the bar staff before getting his photo taken with 6 week old Jim Devine whose mum said Jon was the first celeb baby Jim had met in his 6 weeks!
Jon Bon Jovi then presented Lord Henry Mountcharles a signed guitar so he can get some practice in before the gig next year.
